A legacy continues: Welcome home 4-6 CAV 
CAMP Humphreys, Republic of Korea – The time has come where one chapter closes and another opens.
대한민국 캠프 험프리스 – 1막이 끝나고 2막이 시작되는 시간이 왔다.

북극기병임무대 1-25 공격정찰대대가 3월 1일 캠프 험프리스 수퍼 체육관에서 진행된 임무교대식에서 제2전투항공여단과 작별을 했다.

“Task Force Arctic Sabers assumed responsibility of the rotation HARS in less than 100 days from the initial notification,” said Lt. Col. Matthew Landrum, 1-25th ARB battalion commander and Dakar, Indiana native. “The Soldiers standing before you took on the challenge from both Hawaii and Alaska and never looked backed. They rooted themselves in three guiding principles: remain mission focused; be professional; and stay disciplined.”
인디애나주 다카르 출신이며 1-25 대대 대대장인 매튜 랜드럼 중령은 “북극기병임무대는 중공격정찰대대 순환배치 임무수행을 명령 하달 100일 전에 받았습니다,” 며 “여러분 앞에 서있는 장병들은 하와이와 알라스카에서부터 임무를 부여 받았고 결코 뒤를 돌아보지 않았습니다. 장병들은 임무에 집중하기, 전문가가 되기 그리고 훈련된 상태를 유지하기란 세가지 원칙을 갖고 있습니다.” 고 말했다.

The 4-6th Heavy Attack Reconnaissance Squadron, 16th Combat Aviation Brigade from Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, returns to the Talon family after a six year absence.
워싱턴주 루이스-맥코드 합동 부대에 주둔하고 있는 제16전투항공여단 소속 제 4-6 중공격정찰대대는 6년만에 다시 탈론 부대의 식구가 되었다.

In 2013, 4-6th HARS was the first squadron assigned the nine-month rotational aviation mission in Korea. They were mobilized from JBLM to 2CAB with then Lt. Col. Brian T. Watkins, 4-6th HARS commander.
2013년도에 4-6 대대는 한국에 첫번째로 9개월간 순환 배치된 부대였다. 당시 브라이언 T. 왓킨스 중령이 지휘한 부대는 루이스-맥코드 합동 부대에서 제2전투항공여단으로 이동하였다.

“I’m honored to add 1-25th’s name to the list of units who have made their mark in this theater,” said Watkins, 2CAB commander and Seattle, Washington native.  “As we transition to a new team, I’m confident 4-6 is ready and they will take this division and our alliance to new heights.”
워싱턴주 시애틀 출신이며 2항공여단 여단장인 왓킨스 대령은 “본인은 본 지구에서 활동해왔던 부대의 명단에 1-25대대를 올리는 것에 영광입니다,” 며 “우리가 새로운 팀으로 탈 바꿈하면서 본인은 4-6대대가 준비되어있고 본 사단과 우리의 동맹을 새로이 높게 할 것이라 확신합니다.” 고 말했다.

While 1-25th ARB will be missed, the Talon family can remain resolute knowing operations will continue as usual. 
1-25 대대가 그리우겠지만 탈론 부대 가족들은 작전을 예전과 다름없이 계속 되어야 한다는 것을 알고 있습니다.

Watkins praised 1-25th ARB for their part in the continued effort to strengthen the ROK-U.S. alliance.
왓킨스 대령은 한미공조를 강화하는 데에 1-25 대대가 그들이 담당한 지속적인 노력에 칭찬하였다.

“Thank you again for your support of the Talon brigade and the critical mission aviation plays in support of the ground force commander,” said Watkins.
왓킨스 대령은 “탈론 여단에 대한 여러분들의 지원에 그리고 지상군 사령관들을 위해 중요한 항공 임무를 수행하여 주어 감사합니다.” 고 말했다.
